As an allergy mum, I know the hyper-awareness that comes with packing every snack and meal. With two kids and different allergies, safely eating out became nearly impossible—preparing our own food was the only solution.

I spent years on that kitchen labour of love, creating lunchboxes that were both functional and cool, determined that my children wouldn't feel like they were missing out, especially at birthday parties. Seeing their eyes light up with excitement over what I had packed made all the effort worthwhile.

But then came the unsettling discovery: all the nourishing food I was so careful about was potentially contaminated by toxins and micro-plastics leaching from the very containers I was using.

That moment was a breaking point. I thought, "I never expected something as basic as feeding my child would be so hard."

My Boxie was born from that necessity and that frustration—a promise to other parents that the container would finally be as safe as the food inside.
