Spam Rice Ball

  • Serves: 12-16 rice balls  

INGREDIENTS

  • Spam
  • 2 Cups Sushi Rice
  • Seaweed Flakes
  • Mayonnaise (Vegan Mayo if allergy) 
  • 3 tablespoons Sushi Seasoning (optional, we don't always add this if we are keeping simple for kids)

PREPARATION

  1. Cook the sushi rice following the packet instructions (we like to add some extra water to make the rice softer and more moist when storing it for the next day)
  2. Cut spam into small cubes and fry on high heat on a frying pan until slightly browned or crispy
  3. Mix seaweed flakes and sushi rice with the spam (and sushi seasoning if using)
  4. Roll into balls with wet hands
